Another of our little creatures that we love! Not only do they make honey, the sound of their buzzing is the sound of summer. If you are looking for a wedding theme, then bees will add a fun touch to your wedding decor!
Add bees in these ways……..

Bee shaped cookies from Batches – for Australian readers, try your local bakery, who may just be inspired to make bee biscuits for you!

Buzzy bees – can be used as table confetti – from Paper Creations123

Swing tags tied around your favour boxes, added to your lolly bags from the sweet table or tied around your napkins – elegant and different – from Shop Rhubarb

Butterflies signify that summer is on the way. They add a whimsical motif to your wedding decor as decorations, on napkin rings, tags, cascading down the cake, or scattered over the table tops.
Here are a few that caught our eye:

Edible butterflies made from wafer paper and brushed with vanilla from Sugar Robot

Fondant cupcake toppers from Clineffs Confections

3D Vinyl butterflies from clear cut craft2007

3D cupcake toppers from whimzy creations

Butterfly cupcake toppers from Sweet Tashie

When I found these sweet biscuits over on Sweet Ambs blog, I couldn’t resist showing them to you.
They are called Brush Embroidery cookies and all are hand painted – just like real embroidery or folk art! She then individually wraps them to stay fresh for up to 4 weeks.
Too nice to eat we think, but then who could resist a little nibble when no-one is looking!
They are available through her Etsy shop here.
In bright yellow……

And in blue….

Just imagine how sweet they would be at a vintage themed wedding with lace, and old fashioned flowers, or adding a soft and feminine touch to a modern celebration.
