We love a bride in colour! While a white/off white/cream gown will always hold a special place in our hesarts, there’s something amazing when you spot a bride in colour! There’s something a bit crazy beautiful about a big ballgown in a stunning blue or a bias cut slimline gown in a brilliant green. Let your imagination soar!
We spotted these beauties by Wildberry Photography.

A carved out book on romance, a copper inlay, wax seals, letterpress paper- this is our kind of wedding invitation!
This is the invitation for photographer Jessica Claire’s upcoming wedding, shot by her! Check out her blog entry for more photos of her beautiful invitations.

Are cupcakes a trend? Perhaps, but we love them as an alternative to wedding cake anyway! There is nothing like a soft buttery cupcake piled high with sugary pink icing to turn a day around! Every guest loves a cupcake- there’s a small serving for everybody, you can mix flavors in a buffet and take guests back to yesteryear with the childlike loveliness! We love these cupcakes from Martha Stewart Weddings.

I wish I hadn’t worried about…
The stigma that surrounds the word “wife”
I wish I’d spent more time on…
The cake. I didn’t really bother with the look I was more worried about the taste but at the end of the day I didn’t get more than a bite anyway
The invaluable advice I received…
Don’t stress the small stuff everyone says it but its true if you worry about everything you will be in a really foul mood and later you’ll regret it
If I had to give one piece of advice to future brides it would be…
Make the most of the day you have sent so much time on it that if you don’t just enjoy yourself it would be such a waste
My ultimate Bridal Survival tip…
Make sure your wedding day attire (and I don’t just mean the dress!) is comfortable!
